Pirtle Variety

I don't live in East St Louis anymore but whenever I go home, Pirtle's Variety is always my first stop. I stock up on enough of that delicious hand packed ice cream to last my whole trip. On my way out I stock up again to bring some home packed in hot ice. Pirtlle's is the best hand packed ice cream in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.

This ice cream shop has been in the community for I know more than 25 years. This is tje ONLY ice cream shop in E. St. Louis, Il that has handpacked ice cream. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The best part is that it has been operated by the same group of family members as far back as I can remember. I LOVE PIRTLES!!
