Peace of Mind Pet Boarding

I boarded my 2 little elderly fully vaccinated dogs for 2 weeks while we went across the country for vacation. A week into our vacation I got a call that one of my dogs was sick and she didn't "feel comfortable" keeping her at the kennel. Luckily I had a friend to pick them up. He said she practically threw my dogs at him when he got there. I had to fly home a week early which cost me money to change my airline reservation. When I got home BOTH of my dogs were sick. Vomiting, diarrhea, wouldn't eat or drink and weight loss. When I dropped them off they were fine. I am certain my dogs got sick at this kennel and she couldn't or wouldn't take control of the situation. She just wanted them out of her kennel. What a caring person...eh? To add insult to injury I was suppose to get a 10% discount (per the


Her website) because they were both boarded in the same crate. No discount was given. I was so pissed I just paid her and learned a lesson. After the incident a friend who lives in the same town says this kennel has a history of dogs getting loose and getting hit by cars. I wish I spoke to him before I left my 2 little best friends in her care.
Lesson learned!
