Framing
2. Choosing precision-built modular construction, which is fundamentally stronger than on-site construction. After Hurricane Andrew, FEMA concluded that module-to-module construction provided an inherently rigid system that performed better than conventional residential framing construction. For over forty years, Connecticut Valley Homes has used only high-strength, durable, modular construction methods to build our homes, making them better able to withstand the unpredictable weather events experienced when living at the shore.

Skylight Repair/Replacement
Step inside through the barrel ceiling entryway porch to discover a sunny space that was designed for entertaining. The open floor plan showcases a spacious kitchen with a large island, ceiling-high cabinetry, and exquisite Cambria quartz countertops. Natural light pours into the great room from the screened porch with skylights and low-maintenance Azek decking. Outside, a generous patio invites you to relax and entertain, while an outdoor shower adds the finishing touch to this coastal residence – an ideal retreat after a day spent at the beach.
2. Our homes are stick-built off-siteâ„¢ using precision modular construction technology. While your new home is built indoors in a high-tech, climate-controlled environment, the demolition and foundation work is completed on your site. For over 40 years, and with over 1700+ homes built, Connecticut Valley Homes has saved our customers time while adding more value when building their dream home.
Sunrooms
Outdoor Living Areas: decks, sunrooms, porches, fiberglass roof decks, "crows nest" roof view deck and more.
Our extensive history, level of experience and long-term commitment to customer service has allowed us to master the home building process. We work with you to ready the home site. From excavation and grading to foundation work and mechanicals, budgeting begins with obtaining estimates. Some customers want to get quotes and do some of this work themselves, but most prefer to have the site work completed for them. With our site work services, we handle as much or as little of the site work as you would like.
When the house was finally done, it ended up costing me $20,000 more than the original “rock solid quote†. The finish work was not as good as Connecticut Valley's. He never came back to adjust doors and windows and cabinets and nail-pops. The green lumber he used caused cracks and many nail-pops,...my problem! (Connecticut Valley uses kiln dried lumber it doesn't move.) I sold that house and I plan to build another soon...a Connecticut Valley Modular Home! Because, I know there will be no surprises!
Decks
Q9: What about outside living space – covered porches, decks, garages, etc. Can they be added or incorporated into one of your floor plans?
Siding
Porches
: Yes, we show those spaces on your blueprints even if you plan to build them in the future. We also offer walk-out basements, sunrooms, screened porches, etc.
I like the quality and structural soundness, the insulation is incredible! My house has been toasty warm all winter. I am very satisfied with my savings in oil consumption.
