Overall

Worst experience:

I rarely get my hair dyed, but had gone to this salon a year or so ago for an ombré and they did a great job. When I had called a few weeks ago to make an appointment the colorist who had done my hair was no longer there, so I booked an appointment with the next person they had recommended.

BIG MISTAKE.

I had gone in with a photo of the color and style I wanted for my ombré. I showed her the photo saying you a know I would like some light pieces in the front and for it to look just like this photo. She started using words that I do not understand because I did not study hair. I told her I do not care what you call it or what you do but I want it to loom like this.

Next thing I knew I am sitting in the chair while the colorist tells the other stylist that she wanted an "8" but started with a "10" dye so used a "7" toner.

For those of you who are unaware the color of your hair is ranked among tints, starting with black (at 1 or 0 or whatever) and ending very high with colors like white blonde (in the teens).

My hair is a 4, dark espresso brown in color. I walked out with white blonde streaky highlights streaming from my head. The colorist also told me to start parting my hair to the side, I usually do it down the middle. The lighting was not very good, so once I got home I looked in the mirror and was horrified. Not only was the wrong color in my hair but there were two large high lights right in the middle of my hair coming from my middle part.

I cried for days. While the salon offered to fix it I was not going to trust them to fix my hair. Especially because when I went to have it fixed ( at a different salon) my colorist told me not only was the color wrong and that she did high lights but they were bleeding in my hair making a large white blonde blot of dye in the back of my head.

The colorist at Casa Blanca also mentioned if she were to try to fix my hair win dye she was afraid it may fall out. I so not have very processed hair. She stripped it completely of its color and now was unable to fix it without it falling out ? No thank you.

I called asking for a refund which they would not do. Over 100$ spent to get my hair destroyed.

Go somewhere else.
