I am a huge fan of Perkins Restaurants which means I've eaten at my fair share of them. I have to say that the breakfast items served at this location is great. Absolutely nothing to complain about there. But if you are wanting something other than breakfast, go somewhere else. I've tried many different things from their menu and each time, I got sick. The food was either cold or over cooked each time. I tried the meatloaf at one visit and while it looked good when placed before me, when I cut into it, it was quite apparent that it was burned to the point of being black and then had been smothered in brown gravy to try and hide it. My husband tried the tilapia once and it was extremely fishy tasting which is usually an indication of old fish. On more than one visit, I ordered a dish that was accompanied by rice. Each time it was undercooked. Often times, the wait staff will not ever come back to check if you need anything until they bring out the check. But other times, they are some of the most attentive people I've encountered. As I mentioned, the breakfast is great. Also, their desserts are absolutely excellent. If you're in the mood for a good milkshake, they can serve you up one that is reminiscent of the old days. I love that this location is open 24hrs on the weekend. Definitely a great feature. Give their mammoth muffins a try. Absolutely worth the money.
