Thornridge Child Development

My 5 year old son began Thornridge Child Development Preschool in the Fall of 2016. He had a very difficult time adjusting into Miss Cindy's 3 day Pre-K AM class.(first time being away from home) He was very Apprehensive, clingy, teary eyed, and not wanting to go. The Director of Thornridge Child Development Preschool Miss Cindy, one of the teachers Miss Mary and the rest of her staff were Amazing! They helped him transition at drop off each morning! It progressively got better after the first week or so. It is a great feeling when your child is happy and excited to be dropped off, and happy when you pick them up. Miss Cindy and her staff really care about the kids and actually take the time to know each of them as individuals. This experience was more than I could have hoped for. What makes Thornridge so special is the people. It seems as though every teacher knows the name of every child in the school. It is a loving environment where the kids gain confidence, learn how to interact positively in groups and are HAPPY @ The End of The Day. It has been a pleasure having our son attend this preschool. We could not have found a better home away from home for our son! Thornridge is the best and we are looking forward to our younger son joining Miss Cindy's pre-k class this fall. Highly recommend!!!

If you looking for a preschool to really prepare your child for Kindergarten and a fun experience this is the preschool you'll want to enroll your child in. My grandson transferred from Oklahoma and started his second semester at Thornridge. The program was far better then his previous school and the teachers did an amazing job developing his social skills and working on all areas of education with him. I was really happy with his progress and when he tested for Kindergarten he did very well. I really recommend there program, it's a great foundation to start your child's education.

My family cannot say enough good things about Thornridge Preschool. My son's teachers, Miss Cindy and Miss Justine, are exactly what you would want in a preschool teacher. They look at the whole child, and work on developing all areas of education including social skills. They have been supportive with our son transitioning to school, and have helped the adults in his life transition as well. I am always blown away by how they can transform their space to match the unit theme. Their creativity is outstanding, They are also aware of what is needed to prepare the children for all the Kindergarten requirements,. I cannot wait till my daughter can attend.

We had an AMAZING experience at Thornridge. The teachers are so caring and patient! They make you feel like you are part of their family! I will cherish the memories. The Pre-k program really prepared my child for kindergarten. He also made so many friends. I look forward to taking my other child there.
