Red Door Company

The brokers at Red Door Company have really helped me with my investment properties. I currently have 7 units managed by Red Door Company and they are an extremely cost effective solution. I am rarely in North Carolina as I travel constantly and could not handle the tenant maintenance requests or the occasional eviction since I was rarely here. Red Door Company takes care of everything and doesn't upcharge any of the maintenance costs which is a huge savings to me. My prior management company used to rip me off with their 20% upcharges on repairs and I think they would constantly do unnecessary repairs just to get more money off of me. I am going to be a client of Red Door Company a long time and highly recommend them.

Red Door Company has been great! I was struggling to sell my home in the horrible real estate market this past summer. When I finally came to the realization that my house would not sell for the amount I wanted, I asked my Realtor for a recommendation for a property manager. The very first name my Realtor said was Red Door Company. There wasnt even a hint of hesitation in her voice! The guys at Red Door had my placed listed for rent in less than 2 days. I had a tenant signed within a week and this tenant has been rock solid in paying their rent. Red Door saved my rear end and I cant say enough good things about them.

While superpages.com cant seem to get the address right for Red Door Company (they are based in Carrboro), I have used Red Door Company to manage two of my rental properties for the past 3 years. I have been impressed at how effective they are in managing my properties. On two occasions, they dealt with a difficult tenant situation (tenant stopped paying rent) and were successful in getting the issues resolved. Do their professionalism, I have recommended two of my friends to them and both signed up and seem happy with the services provided.

Looked at house 2 months ago to rent, and one of the comments I made was that it was not too clean. I was assured it would be. When I got here it was very dirty, walls marked up, cracked and peeling paint. Based boards and door frames dirty, and it has not been painted years. The bathroom has rotten wood and mold. Yard has not been cleaned since last year before the leaves fell.Duck tape is around pipes to cover holes in walls. Half of the windows do not have screens. Owner does not want to pay for painting everything. Red Door is suppose to fix the bathroom, but it is now 7 days later and I have only had the walls in two rooms painted (only the walls) and the yard cleared. I cannot set up anything from my move, I have asked twice to get out of my contract with no response. My next move is code enforcement and an attorney. Any other advice?
