        I emailed the law firm of Downs, McDonough & Cowan, LLC for some legal advice early one afternoon in 2017. James McDonough promptly contacted me by phone shortly after I sent my email. I was immediately comfortable speaking with Mr. McDonough, his manner and professionalism put me at ease. He genuinely cared about me as a person and wanted to help me resolve my legal issue to the best of his ability. I had gained a trustworthy, knowledgeable ally in a situation where I had previously been completely on my own with no idea how to proceed. Mr. McDonough went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me resolve my legal issue. He was willing to take extra time out of his busy schedule to answer all my questions and assuage my concerns over the problems I was experiencing.
