Preventive Care

Dental Care
After the recommended dental work is completed, your pet can enroll in our optional 2 year Dental Promise Plan. If your pet requires further dental work within the next 2 years, no charge will be associated with that procedure. Your pet must remain current on his/her annual exam with our hospital for this plan to apply. This plan may not be transferred to another patient, nor is it valid at any other hospital.
Vaccination
All examinations, diagnostic tests, services and products other than vaccinations will be charged according to WVH’s regular fee schedule.

Our Westfield Veterinary Hospital Outpatient Veterinary Clinic is a satellite office of the Westfield Veterinary Hospital. The clinic offers routine outpatient services including examinations, vaccinations and lab tests. Common illnesses such as ear infections, urinary tract infections, skin conditions and respiratory or gastrointestinal problems can also be treated at the outpatient clinic. Although our surgical procedures are all performed in our Westfield location, often you may drop off and pick up your pet at our Dunkirk office. Please call for details.

Dental Surgery
Add on service available to any patient that receives a dental cleaning/prophy or oral surgery at our practice after October 15th, 2021.
Veterinary Surgery
Originally founded by Dr. Messer, the practice initially treated cows and horses, but over the years, as dairy farms were replaced by grapes, the practice started to focus more on companion animals such as dogs and cats. Dr. Sarah Johnson started as an associate doctor at in 2004 before purchasing the clinic in 2008. Dr. Johnson has continued the standard of providing high quality medical and surgical care to pets in Westfield, Dunkirk and the surrounding areas.
