Dr. Hammer earned a BS in Biology from the University of North Dakota and then completed his DDS degree in 2013 from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. While earning his degrees, Dr. Hammer was committed to both community service and academic excellence. In dental school, he volunteered and coordinated the Union Gospel Mission Dental Clinic in St. Paul. Dr. Hammer also acted as a student ambassador to prospective dental students and upon graduation, received the Academy of Osseointegration Outstanding Student in Implant Dentistry Award.
