Here's the thing about JAS: They're not the best in town, but they're certainly not the worst. My husband and I lived in a one-bedroom apartment owned by JAS for a little over a year. We didn't always have the safest or most agreeable neighbors, but trouble-makers were either dealt with or evicted. The landlord is helpful when he wants to be, but when he is in a bad mood watch out. The maintenance guys get things done...eventually. Basically, living at a JAS apartment complex we got what we paid for. We had a small one bedroom apartment for a cheap price. We got our first apartment with no rental history and crappy credit rating. The landlord took a chance on us, and so we dealt with whatever issues we may have had which to be honest, weren't many. I would reccommend JAS to anyone with a less than stellar background, evictions, or first-time renters. If you're looking for someplace classy with just as much class to their act, JAS will not be for you.
