Beware everyone!!!! This restaurant and the owner/head chef of this establishment is a liar and a hypocrite! If I could give -5 stars I would! Yesterday I came to this restaurant looking for somewhere where I could bring my wife on a date. I chose this place cause there is outdoor seating and indoor seating. I figured we'd sit outdoors. I asked the head chef/owner of this restaurant if masks were mandatory in walking outside to your outside table. I told him I have a serious asthma condition that prevents me from wearing a mask and I have to keept medication with me. I told him my wife however would have a mask. He answered no, if you have asthma and you have your medication with you then no I will not require you to wear a mask while you walk outside to your outside table. He told me my wife would however have to have a mask while walking outside to our table outside. I said ok, and I made a reservation for my wife and I. On the night of our date, we showed up for our reservation. When we arrived, he was sitting outside nearby WITHOUT A MASK, watching. The lady at the front desk informed me I would have to wear a mask. I explained to her that yesterday the head chef/owner told me I wouldn't have to. She told me he had changed his mind and would now require me to wear one. When I protested, she summoned him over. While he walked towards us, he put on a mask. He went back on his word and said he didn't care that I was an asthmatic and said he wouldn't serve me unless I donned a mask. I protested saying yesterday he had said it'd be fine. He said that he simply changed his mind. I told him I was going to post a bad review about him and his restaurant and how he's not adhering to people with a disability. Aside from him being a liar and a hypocrite, this is 100% discrimination. Apparently I can go online and draw up litigation papers for his action and have them sent to the owner. My wife left a review on the restaurants Facebook page. Within minutes, she got multiple likes! I've been informed his actions are illegal, and to file a complaint cause the ADA can give them a penalty for discriminating against people with disabilities. The informant isn't sure, but she thinks it's $7,000 per incidence. When my wife and I were at his restaurant, I took a pic of him sitting outside, without a mask. I've tried to find a way to post a pic of him without his mask on, but I'm not finding a way to do it. His name is Marco Silva. I'm going to BBB this issue as well. After we left, my wife looked up other reviews people have left of this place. On other social media avenues, we've read where people say their food is awful, and often uncooked when delivered to them. I'd choose anywhere but here.
