didnt like it. some staff are very rude and theres a housekeeping named zophia and she is very rude she shouldnt be there.

My 90-year old mother has been in Rehab for almost 4 weeks at this facility and has been treated very well by all of the staff, especially in the physical therapy department. The private room she has had is spacious although the bathroom could use some updating.



The staff have been courteous, her health has improved, and she now has some limited mobility. I'm very thankful for the care she has received here.

I have been in Providence for 24 hours now, and I can guarantee that this is the absolute WORST place I've ever been to.



I had a total knee replacement on Monday. I'm 56. Also, my mother is currently here due to knee surgery.



I asked for a pain pill, and it took almost 7 hours to get it. They don't have an inhouse pharmacy.

I asked the aide for ice (THREE times) and finally got it 5 hours later.

The Admissions director is easily intimidated and doesn't check facts.

Your Power of Attorney for Healthcare person is NEVER contacted.

Your family can say you have dementia and they'll automatically believe it.

They lose prescriptions from your doctor frequently.

They don't know anything about insulin--for example, if you haven't eaten all day, and you're below 90, they'll still try to give you a shot.

A semi-private room gives you around 60 sq. ft, including your bed,drawers (2), wheel chair and walker. There is no table & and there are no chairs for visitors.

Food is horrible.

Most frequent words heard? "I'm sorry". But, of course, that's never from a person in charge.

Oh, and one last item: my roommate has dementia. She got up and dressed in the middle of the night, then sat on my bad leg and tried to get in bed with me!!! The bed alarm had been going off for about 25 minutes, but not a damn nurse or aide showed up.



This place actually deserves less than one star.

It has private rooms,very clean,but the menu has the same 6 things everyday for lunch and dinner.if you need theropy they have the best Marionjoy can offer, the doctors are very attentive to your needs. But the regular staff is only good between 6 am and 4 pm. After that you could get better service at Holiday Inn.The staff is overly concerned about liability and will not allow any patient to do anything on their own. You have to ask permission to do anything, like a three year old. If your senile this is good, but if your not, it's demeaning,demoralizing and detrimental to mental health. But beware if you had any complaints, you will just be given a runaround, no one will be available to help, or listen to you. The harder you try get help, the less people will answer the phone. Until you are tired of complaining. In short they are great on rehab, good on health,but lousy on care and kindness
