Elgin National Industries, through its subsidiaries, serves mining and bulk materials handling industries, and supplies a wide range of industrial customers with products, including fasteners, electrical equipment and maintenance supplies. Its subsidiary, Centrifugal Services, is a principal manufacturer of new and rebuilt replacement parts, components, and centrifuges to the domestic and international materials processing industry. Its Clinch River Corporation subsidiary is a full-service custom fabrication shop, specializing in various types of power plant, preparation plant and underground coal mining. Mining Control, another subsidiary, is involved in the custom design and manufacture of electrical power distribution equipment and controls for surface and underground mining installations. Its Soros Associates subsidiary is an international engineering firm, specializing in port development, cargo handling systems and offshore terminals worldwide.
