Benfield Electric was founded in 1968 by Charles Benfield in Forest Hill, Maryland. Since then our expansion has included offices in Elkridge MD, York PA, Fredericksburg and Manassas VA. In 2000 we acquired EMF electric of Chantilly to augment our Virginia division and expand our client base. Through the years our company becomes one of the largest electrical merit shops on the East Coat with over 300 employees and $40,000,000.00 in annual sales. No job is too small or too large. Benfield Electric has worked on several designs/builds projects and has an engineering and design team. That not only allows us to design our own electrical systems but it also helps with the quality control on all of our projects. We are able to combine our in house engineering with our skilled field electricians to obtain an inexpensive and functionally correct design. Although our residential and commercial construction divisions are the meat of our company it is our 24 /7 service department that is our most important asset. They provide around the clock quick and cost effective solutions to the residential and commercial communities. We have a long list of satisfied customers which simplifies our advertising efforts because they do it for us.
