Coggins Plumbing

Coggins was recommended to me by a neighbor, the sales rep that came out was professional as was the staff at the office however that was where the professionalism ended. We had a whole home re-pipe and found that the work performed was not best practices when it came to where and how they ran the new pipes. Example, pvc pipe should not be run where base board nails might puncture the pipe. After the repipe was complete, I found that they had mounted the pipe leading to the exterior hose bib crooked and not plumb (horizontal). When I called to have it corrected it took two trips for them to recognize and then make more holes in the side of my home to correct. When it came time for the permitting approval they painted not just the pipe (code requirement) but also my brick and patio pavers as a result of careless use of spray paint with no masking. Then, we get charged additional fees for permitting and red tag fines which were not explained to us, these are a result of our hectic schedules and not being able to stay home for four hour windows of time. This could have been resolved again with better communication. For this large a job with as much money at hand I can’t believe they would charge any additional fees.
