IL Toscano Restaurant

To be honest, I had been there 4 previous times and things were excellent. But Sat. night was a great disappointment. The food was still good, though not as good as previously, but it my 50 plus years of going to restaurants, it was the 1st time I was ever told by a restaurant employee to hurry up as I was finishing my coffee because other people were waiting for the table. First of all, the 4 of us were not dining slowly; but here are some tips for Il Toscano to have our table become vacant sooner.

. We had reservations for 7:00 p.m. for which we were on time. If we didn't have to then wait for 15 minutes for our table for our 7:00 reservation, we would have been out sooner.

. While the waiter seemed to be rushing us for our food order even before we could make a toast with our cocktails, he more than made up for that by the inordinately long wait we had between appetizers and entree.

.The wine I ordered never arrived, but the charge for it appeared on the bill. So of course we had to wait until the bill was corrected.



What a disappointment.
