this is a very good place to get almost anything leather repaired, from shoes to belts to bags. The prices are very resonable, and if you have an issue, he will fix it. My heel fell off after he put it on, so I brought it back and he repaired it again,he just had to use stronger glue. heel is still on after 1 year... I will always go to the Cobbler's bench and will recommend him to all my friends and anybody that needs shoe repair!

I brought in some boots to have them repaired. He was quite rude, but I made the poor decision to leave the boots with him.
After wearing the "repaired" boots for the first time, the new soles fell off, which is unsurprising since he glued a rubber sole to the bottom. He refused to give me a refund, as he guarantees his work. So I brought in the boots to be fixed again. When I got them back, the sole was still not completely glued on. When I brought them back a third time, he said I was too picky. He still would not give me a refund, since I didn't have a receipt. He never gave me a receipt.
As I was leaving, he told me to never come back to his store, but he doesn't have to worry about that. If you decide to give the Cobbler's Bench a try, make sure you get a receipt.

The man I spoke to when I brought my boots in for repair was quite rude. During the unpleasant interaction, I asked for a new heel and he told me "No, you don't want me to do that." He then described how he would just seal up the cracked heel and put on a new sole. I paid $32 in cash for this and was not given a receipt.
Today, I wore my "fixed" boots for the first time, only to have the new soles come off after less than 1 hour. When I called him to let him know, he refused to give me a refund. He told me he guarantees his work and has been repairing shoes for over 31 years. With that much experience, I would expect more than a rubber sole glued to the bottom of my boot.
I do not want to bring my boots back to him for more work, as I have already wasted my time with this cobbler. I would much prefer a refund so that I can bring my boots to an actual cobbler who will repair them properly and in the method I request. If I wanted rubber glued to the bottom of my boots, I would have done it myself.
