Child's Play Place Inc

If you want to have your child put in a bathroom with their bed next to a dirty toilet for punishment - then this place is for you! Not for my daughter. Investigated because of bad practices....stay away!

I have two year old twins who have been enrolled at Child's Play Place for the past few months now. I switched to this center after our first choice didn't turn out to be all they promised us. At CPP you can rest assured that the owner and staff will respect your parental wishes without question, judgement, or deceit. They will provide you with exceptional communication so you know what is going on in your children's lives while you are at work. They will give you piece of mind knowing that your children are safe, learning, and having a great time playing with friends and teachers. We are truly blessed to have found such a great group of people to care for our babies!! Thank you CPP!

Oh Mrs. H, if only the world were fair and someone could write a review about you. I noticed how you didn't write anything about how you begged for the owner to keep your family in the program even after you were asked to leave the because of your rude behavior. You also didn't mention how the director spent her own time and effort to find your family a new program in the area. You also forgot to mention how your co-workers see you as rude and would prefer not to spend time in your presence. Oh if only the world were fair.



This program is family owned and operated, which means funds are limited to revenue generated by the low cost rates that parents are charged. The staff give their all to the program and love each and every child as individuals. Caregivers here should be treated like professionals and not "the hired help."

Be careful not to terrorize the staff by asking: Where is the director (so I could PAY)? Did you get the stuff I dropped off yesterday? Where does my child keep their personal things in the class room? Where did the class go (that s right, no one told us the class had a field trip)? Do you have a changing table? Do you know how the child s day was? Certainly do not expect to be greeted or acknowledge at drop off or pick up. Do not expect the staff to introduce themselves. Do not expect to have staff interaction with your children. Do not expect it to be understood that they should call the child by his or her actual name. Do not expect the staff to be attentive enough to notice an injury to the child that warrants a State Inspection. Do expect the rooms to be dirty because the toddler yard is a large Sand Box . Do expect to supply your own bedding so your child does not sleep on thin carpet over concrete (preschool and up). Do expect to be considered rude for finding any of this odd. Do expect to save money compared to other centers in the area. But, I guess you get what you pay for.
