2017-07-06 I would like to add that after we submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau the issue has been resolved. The Iowa Fire Equipment Specialists visited us second time and fixed the problem with fire alarm signals delivery to ADT processing center and our Ridgeview Home Owners Association received a descent compensation. I would like to thank everyone who assisted us to solve this problem!

Totally disappointed with their service which model is "less service for more money". Technicians don't know where the main parts and devices are installed, they do not communicate to third party companies who transfer and process Fire Alarm Systems signals (like ADT and Centurylink) since Iowa Fire Equipment Co technicians believe it is the building owners' responsibility to maintain and administer the system. More, the technicians disrespect your property and enter inside wearing their steel toed boats leaving dirt and debris on your floor. Also they don't care how your Fire Alarm system works as a complex. They don not verify, if there are any errors in the system log reported (like in our case when scheduled by timer test signals not received by ADT repeatedly). Anyway, Iowa Fire Equipment Co technicians won’t fix a problem that doesn’t present itself while they are on site. After all, they charged us for useless, sub par service over $1000 standing that we are billed correctly for their time and they blame us that all issues we are complaining about regarding their service, because, as they replied to us: "technicians work at thousands of different locations over the course of a service year and they don have any issues at other locations". Nice.. I would not recommend to use their service ever.
I had a great experience with Iowa Fire Equipment. They came out to offer a free quote the same day I called. I was happy with the service they provided.
Sub par performance. Sub par technicians, service is worse. Slow turn around time. Hard to get high priority items fixed quick.
