Aspen Athletic Clubs offer classes for all fitness levels. Our instructors can differentiate the class programming and cue effectively so everyone gets an awesome workout. If you are new to a class, arrive 10 minutes prior to start time and introduce yourself to the instructor. Bring a water bottle and sweat towel for your convenience. Group fitness classes include Zumba, BodyPump, yoga, Spinning, kickboxing and more in Des Moines, Iowa and in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Check our schedules below to see which classes are offered at each location. Each tanning bed uses a carefully controlled mix of both UVA and UVB ultraviolet light rays to help prevent indoor tanners from burning as easily or as quickly as they could by tanning outdoors. Tanning outdoors does not give the control that indoor tanning does, because the sun emits the entire spectrum of ultraviolet light, including the most intense rays that burn you more quickly. With indoor tanning you always know exactly what kind of ultraviolet light you are getting and how long you will be in the tanning session. You also have the convenience of never having to worry about bad weather or over-exposure to sunlight. Tanning is available at Merle Hay, Hickman, and SE 14th Locations. Kids Klub Enjoy your workout while your kids enjoy an interactive experience in our Kids Klub facility. Tons of games, fun, and special crafts allow you child to interact with other kids in a safe, well-supervised environment. Child Care can be added to any membership at the following rates: $10/month for 1 child, $20/month for 2 or more. Kids Klub is available at West Glen, Merle Hay, Hickman, and SE 14th Locations. Check our club listings for Kid’s Klub hours of operation. Massage Therapy Massage Therapy provides relaxation, a reduction of stress and complements any exercise schedule. Massage Therapy is beneficial to all ages, the ill, and stressed and the injured. The benefits of Massage Therapy include a reduction of pain and stiffness, long term reduction of tension headaches and the stimulation of endorphins by the brain.
