Denville Commons Cleaners

Stay away from Denville Common Cleaners. Their customer service is terrible. The owner does not tolerate any complaints, starting yelling right away. Most importantly, he does not respect his own loyal customers.

We were with this service for 6 years, and never got any serious accidents except several cases when the owner was trying to fool us asking for unreasonably high price (once claiming that a synthetic coat was made of natural leather in contrary to the sticker; the other time wool rug cleaning was overestimated by a factor of 5).

Few days ago, one of the shirts (from Thomas Dean) was ruined by ironing at too high temperature (probably by using “linen” settings instead of “cotton”). When we pointed out to the defect, the owner had not brought any excuses. Instead, he stated that it was OUR OWN FAULT - if we would like higher quality, he suggested us to pay $5 per shirt instead of $1.80 they normally charged us. As compensation, he suggested to return the price of cleaning.
