No attorney or firm, no matter the price, can guarantee results but what every attorney or firm should guarantee, especially with billing rates of $360/attorney and $125/para legal is that they will represent you to the best of their ability and give your care the attention that it deserves of give you both the professional and personal respect of being upfront and telling you they don’t have time to take on your case at the current time. I am not an “unhappy client” because of negative results, I am an unhappy client because my attorney was to busy with other things to even get me results and the result was that my court date was bumped 6 months!!

I hired the Harris Law Firm to represent me in a child custody case after being informed that I was the father of a child that had already been born. My attorney at the Harris Law Firm was very expensive $360/hour which would have been ok if she had been proactive and available to provide the kind of timely service and attention to my case that I would expect from an attorney that I am paying $360/hour. However, even after repeated complaints about things not being handled in a timely manner and even after directly asking several times that my attorney let me know if she was too busy with other things to handle my case properly I was promised that she would give my case the necessary attention when the time came but that never happened and the end result was that because my attorney was too busy with other things to give my case the attention it needed we did not reach an agreement on the parenting plan in time to complete mediation before the trial date and my court date was moved back 6 months!!! The only thing that was gained with almost 9 months of legal bills that totaled almost $20,000.00 was an agreement on a visitation schedule but 95% of that was written and negotiated by me. I would not recommend the Harris Law Firm to my worst enemy. For the kind of money they charge a client should expect nothing short of excellent customer service and attention to detail rather than wait, sometimes for weeks, to get a reply to an e-mail or to be able to schedule a phone call. If you want an attorney that will handle things when she has the time and is not too busy with other things then e-mail me and I will be happy to give you her name. However, if you want someone to actually fight for you and most importantly to fight for what is best for your children then you should go somewhere else.
