super easy, no BS, great people. And they take medicaid. Also the wait is not any longer than you would expect to wait at an urgent care or doctor office. in fact i would say it was a bit faster.

I went for a persistent cough and sinus issues. The wait was fairly short and I saw Dr Foley in short order. He listened closely to my complaints/descriptions of my issue and proceeded to write 2 scipts for both issues. That was yesterday pm and this morning my cough is gone and sinuses dry! I got MUCH better service AND results here than at any ER I have visited. Strongly recommend this Guardian care center. Dr Foley is excellent and very patient, ask for him by name!

Dear Guardian Urgent Care staff,

I visited your facility today, seeking the help of competent and caring physicians and walked away feeling worse than before I was seen by your staff. I was advised this morning by my Dentist to go to a Urgent Care facility for my abscessed tooth. I found your offices to be only blocks from my house, so I decided to be seen by your staff. I was in excruciating pain. My mouth and jaw and gums were swollen and infected. My Dentist assured me that I be given an antibiotic and pain relief of some sort, so that on Tuesday she would be able to properly care for my tooth. I hardly ever have to see a doctor, but recently I had a sinus and ear infection and had to be seen. At that visit I was prescribed Amoxicillin for the sinus and ear infection and a medicine called Norco that I was told was for my cough. At todays appointment I brought in my paperwork from that appointment with all the information explaining what the Doctors and nurses did to help me. I explained to the best of my ability, while trying to withstand the pain I was in, the details from that appointment. I never ask for pain medicine, but today for the 1st time I did. That's how much pain I was in and at home I have been taking 4 Ibuprofen and 2 Tylenol every 2-3 hours, just to try and lessen the pain a little! I know that is not good for me and my stomach has been extremely upset due to this. I do not like taking any medicines, especially narcotics. I have no issues with the nurse that cared for me, she was very kind, understanding and sympathetic to my pain, but the PA, Rebecca Powell that saw me, was a whole other story. When she brought me my scripts she decided not to give me pain medicine and only gave me the Amoxicillin. Her reason she said, was because I lied to her. "I lied to her"?! When and how did I do this? What exactly is it that I lied about? Why would I have brought in my information printouts from my last doctors visit, if I was trying to hide anything from the staff here?! She made me feel like some junky trying to scam the system for pain medicine. I understand there are those who do this out there, but be assured I am NOT one of them. I have never felt so disrespected and humiliated in my life. Thanks to her I left feeling worse than I did before being seen.

I had called these care providers inquiring as to the cost to receive a tetanus shot as a preventative measure before the 2014 summer began. They quoted me a cost for the shot; I then asked if there were any other charges and was told no; I stopped by, waited about 40 minutes with others in the waiting room, which was typical and fine; I then waited another 35 in the patient room for the physician, which was irritating; the nurse returned 2x during this period to apologize for the delay. Before I left I advised them that my insurance provider needed them to clearly code the charge as preventative, which is what it was; their billing department did not do as I has requested and my first claim submission was denied b/c of this lack of proper through; my ins. carrier has since agreed to pay this charge; Guardian also billed my insurance carrier for a $130 office visit, which my insurance did not pay; now I have that bill. The Guardian physician checked my pulse, BP, and asked me how I was feeling. Seriously, I went to their care center for one reason and the least they could have done was to answer my original question professionally with regard to full cost disclosure. My experience there was to have received poor communication from the front desk, poor handling of what I had professionally spoken to their staff about regarding proper coding of charges, and a charge that I was not informed of, denied by insurance, and now my issue to handle as I have yet to determine, the latter for an unnecessary 3 minute dialog with a physician after a lengthy wait. Very rough handling for a simple request for a tetanus shot. The Denver Health Immunization Clinic cost would have cost less and their staff is superlative in disclosure of cost information and in avoiding a 3 minute speedy once over your BP and pulse for a truly affluent charge of $ 50/ per minute. The three other reviews here are good and a physical examination that I had received from them some time ago was typical and went off w/o a problem; my experience there this time however was not what it could have been for the receipt of a simple tetanus shot; I suggest that should you consider their services, that you press them for full information of costs and how they handle their insurance coding before you go there, and before you leave.

Awesome service and staff. They are so thero with every exam they have ever done with me and my children. I have recommended them to all they friends that live in the area. I go there for pretty much all mine and my families health issues/broken bones/ sitches.. they pretty much have done it all for us. They are very caring and professional. The wait compaired to the other urgent cares is so quick. I havent ever waited over 45 minutes. The staff is so friendly and the providers really know what they are doing. Before my insurance kicked in I had to pay out of pocket. It was due at the time of service, but it was soooo much cheaper then the ER. I'm so thankful they are right down the road. Love this place and I'd highly recommend it to anyone!
