        The Denton County Juvenile Detention Center, also known as DCJDC, provides short- and long-term treatment for adjudicated delinquent juveniles. It manages a staff of supervisors, shift leaders and a deputy director. The center has intake and counseling units. The center also has certified detention transport officers. It offers education, nutrition, personal hygiene, voluntary religious services and counseling on an individual basis. The center maintains various housing units that can accommodate up to 45 juveniles. It provides behavior management, first time offenders and visitation programs. The center s facilities include a gymnasium, cafeteria and basketball court. The Denton County Juvenile Detention Center is located in Denton, Texas.
