        Great Dining Experience on the Road

        We weren't expecting much from the restaurant our family chose for a quick meal and visit on our way to Bogalusa, but we were wrong! We met them at La Carreta and enjoyed some of the best Dakotas ever. The waitstaff attended our table as if we were the only customers in the house. Next time we're travelling west on I-12, we'll be eating at La Carreta--with or without our local relatives!

        We met our niece and nephew for dinner--they chose La Carreta. We're from the Houston area where Mexican restaurants are on every corner, so we weren't thrilled at their choice--until the food arrived! The service was excellent and the food was among the best Mexican we've ever had. Who says Denham Springs can't possibly have a great Mexican eatery?!
