Oxford Academy

Oh mi! I cannot believe this facility is still here - I don't know if my rating 24 years later match with what's going on today. I do know, this was a perfect facility for my new baby, who was at the time 14 weeks old... Fast forward, that baby is now a mom and we are looking for an immaculate nursery close to home, and wow, Oxford is the first place that came to mind... Ms. Kim, was the director at the time, and she was a gem. I trust she's still around and currently manages the center! Bravo on longevity :)

My son attends this daycare and everything seemed great at first.... After a legal battle between me and ex girlfriend this daycare has done everything in their power to side with my childs mother by threatening to have me arrested for harassment after only two calls to speak with owner about my child's well being . Owner proceeded to curse me out over this bad review and threatened me with a trespassing charge if I am to show up for my son. There are no court orders preventing me from getting my child as I have in past but this daycare and the management shouldn't be picking sides as they are now.

As a parent who was returning to working days after working nights, I was worried about who was going to take my place in caring, teaching and loving my child as I had done for 3 years at home.
After visiting some daycares and leaving in tears because of their appearance, smells and other issues. I thought going back to days was not going to work out until I found Oxford Academy in Delray Beach.
The owner greated me with the biggest smile and showed me around and I had never felt more comfortable. She explained their routines and healthy eating menu for the kids which I loved. As a parent I felt less stress, not having to pack a lunch and having confidence that my child will have healthy meals through out the day.
I can not speak highly enough about the staff either. When my child asks what he is doing tomorrow when he wakes up and We say your going to "School" he gets super excited. They are not just a daycare letting kids play and watch movies. They are actually teaching my child. He comes home with activities and homework. Oxford Academy in Delray Beach was the best choice we made and I would recommend them to anyone!

Horrible place, located in a run down plaza in the hood. You drive around back to drop your kids off to see thugs smoking cigs at other stores nearby. The playground is dangerous and falling apart, surprised the state actually allows this place to be open. The inside is very unsanitary...you can actually see all the dirt and again everything is falling apart. The owner and director will lie to your face and talk down to you as if you do not have any say in your child's upbringing. They also do not let you pack your own food for their lunch, which the stuff they fed the kids was junk! Lastly, this one tops the cake...you are not allowed to visit with your child. It is the worst place I had ever seen and I felt like an awful mother for subjecting my child to it for the first month we moved here.

My child has been going to Oxford for months and I have not had the problems that were spoken of here. My childs bottles were warmed up in a crock pot. His food is warmed in the microwave. They do feed him in a swing now that I said it was alright, but at first I asked them not to and found they respecting my wishes. I have vistited at diffrent times of day and always find my child happy and well taken care of. He smiles at the teachers when we arrive and leave. Now I won't say they are perfect, but as parents are we. I do want perfection in my daycare and they come as close to it as I could find.

Hello Oxford! Thanks to all the wonderful people there Marshall is doing so well in Kindergarten! We miss you all.

I have had my daugher in this facility since she was 4 months old. I have never had one issue with this place and my daughter is graduating kindergarten today. I send her here for summer camp (which she loves and can t wait for every year) .

Their VPK program is phenomenal and I believe what she learned at this school has helped her to qualify for the gifted program at Banyan creek. I do believe that all of the bad press on here about this place is by disgruntled employees. This a Wonderful child care facility and if i had to do it all over again i would not change a thing! Grateful to have found such a wonderful place with such caring staff to send my child.

My son Elias has been at Oxford Academy since he was 10 weeks old and I could not be happier with my choice in a daycare. They are efficient, safe and caring!!

Management is wonderful

This is truly the best daycare center in Palm Beach County. The owner is also the Director and is on location everyday. She runs the facility like a "mom" and gives special attention to every child. The curriculum is age appropriate and tailored to meet the needs of each child. The staff are very attentive and strive to bond with each child. The average teacher has been employed at Oxford for at least a year or more and the turn-over is minimal. Oxford Academy really is "The Wise Choice"!

I love Oxford Academy! My daughter has been going there for over 2 years. The owner and staff are very sincere and care about the kids. My daughter loves going here and most of the kids that she has been in class with are still there with her. That says something. Initially i thought this would be a temporary school for my daughter but I wouldn't move her now even if Oxford were more expensive (which it isn't!!!)

They have a affordable hot lunch program, daily reports on their eating, napping and other activities! The prices are affordable and the hours are great! The playground is great. Better than many schools I visited.

Although it's in the back of a shopping center and at first you question it when you arrive- looks are deceiving... My daughter loves going to school and has thrived here! I feel completely comfortable having my daughter here during the day!

My child has been here for 4 years. He can be a handful on any given day. All I have seen here is a healthy amount of discipline and a ton of love. He has learned more then my friends children have at daycares that cost twice as much. They have treated us with respect and understanding. I have not seen the day care dirty, and I pick up and drop off at all different times of day. I would recommend this day care to others.
