Fair Oaks Hospital

This place is a dump. There is filth everywhere. Employees stand around doing nothing. They try to keep you as long as possible to milk your insurance but the doctors are nowhere to be found. Stay away from this place like the plague. If you need treatment, find a different facility.

This place Fair Oaks is horrible! The nursing staff and techs treat you like you are scum! I was in the psychological unit for adults from sept. 25th until oct.16 2015 for an alcohol detox. I have never experienced medical personal treat people as badly as they did to patients that are detoxing from alcohol, cocaine, methadone, heroine, and other deadly controlled substance abuse! These people including myself are very sick and came to Fair Oaks to get help?? Then to be ignored by nurses and techs? I watched people walk up to the nurses station with the shakes so bad that they could hardly walk! Then these people are standing there at the nurses station to ask a question or seeking further help, only to be ignored! The nurses and the techs gave this crying man not a second thought, but to tell him to go sit down? Most of the Meds Nurses were very pleasant and nice to work with. One tech from another unit that worked only in the Geriactic unit came from there to work as a tech in the adult duel diagnosis unit which was where I was. She had an attitude that was just not going to be tolerated by these patients in the adult duel diagnosed unit! She screamed and pointed her finger in their face and the patient was calm until she started yelling at him. Then he asked for a complaint form and she ignored him again! This same tech walked out of the nurse station slamming the half wood entrance door behind her. Then she sees the laundry basket in the hallway and pushes it very hard two times into the wall! Then on her way down the hallway she proceeds to bang on the walls! She makes her way to the end of the hallway and exits out of door next to my room, slamming that door as hard as she could! This same tech would tell patients to be quite at 7am because other patients were still sleeping. Breakfast is at 7:30am, but she has her cell phone in her uniform pocket and it's playing gospel music that could be heard down to my room way down the hallway! I went to Fair Oaks to detox from alcohol! But after all that I saw and the unpleasant experience with the rude staff? I think I need emotional help! I have never been treated so poorly by nurses and techs! Don't go there this place is really bad! I'm now filling out my survey for and going to need extra paper for my answers!
