College Arms Towers

I live here for now. I am disappointed with the quality of residents in this low income senior living building high rise. There are 16 floors here on a somewhat high traffic Avenue. There are quieter locations in the back of the building however. The main problem is that the administrator does not know how to build harmony and friendliness amongst the residents. There are approximately 200 residents over the age of 62 and the residents who have been living here five year or more behave as if they own the building. What has been formed are many many cliques. The mentality of the some of these residents are simpletons and small minded, therefore, they thrive on rumors and gossip and hatred, whatever gets them thru their day. The rules here are constantly being broken, employees assaulting residents and getting away with it because the management overlooks it. Residents who are too ill to come out of their apartments and go without eating and are not checked on. Residents holding grudge against other residents, very offensive and humiliating behavior. I will stay here as long as I can spend most of my time within the walls of my apartment. Also, they have a bed bug problem here which they are constantly treating. There should be rules inspiring residents to be cordial and pleasant and neighborly to one another. Sorry I moved her, but it is what it is. Think twice and check other senior facilities before sniging a lease here.

I have been living at College Arms Towers for some time now and I feel like this is my home. My apartment is spacious with nice carpet and granite kitchen counters, I have a nice view and the office manager, Jan is wonderful, always professional, helpful, caring and very smart. She knows all the rule of this fine facility and she makes sure every resident obeys them. Arianna, the administrator, is magnificent. She is always here with a smile and cheerful greeting and addresses every problem with strength and peace. The maintenance men are reliable, experienced and takes care of all maintenance problems regarding the residents immediately. The lobby is a wonderful area with a 60" flat screen TV and several comfortable chairs so the residents can meet and greet and congregate and interact with one another. There are 24 hour security guards on duty to ensure the residents safety. Everyone is treated as an equal and the holidays are celebrated with dinner and beverages in the dining room. The residents are friendly, warm and we all make friends easily There is assigned parking and mailboxes inside the building. Laundry rooms on each floor. This retirement community is run like a tight ship which enables all the residents to feel comfortable and safe. I give this establishment two thumbs up.
