ND snowbirds like it here

The owners of this campground, Bill and Donna, really love their business and their location on Juniper Lake. You will meet them and get to know them if you stay here. The grounds and campsites are personally cared for and well maintained. You could entertain yourself for days by simply admiring the many plantings and trying to locate all the yard ornaments and decorations.

This is our first RV trip into Florida and we discovered this campground through Passport America. We've had a wonderful 3-day stay here, enjoying the peace and quiet and the escape from North Dakota winter weather.

Why We Loved Juniper Lake

For those who like peace and tranquility and very good company. The owners of Juniper Lake, Bill and Donna, impressed us with their great generosity of spirit and consideration for all their guests. They have a beautiful setting on a fishing lake with wonderful gardens, windchimes and birdsong, a deck for everyone to use and a firepit around which the whole crowd gathered under the stars. They have excellent wi-fi, good, clean private bathrooms, clear cable TV and are within five minutes of the beautiful little town of DeFuniak Springs with a lively cultural scene and pretty historic downtown with good restaurants. Walmart and Winn-Dixie are also close by as well as a number of useful locally-owned businesses and a wonderful old-style General Store. The rates are very reasonable and the Gulf Coast is only 30 miles down the road. A really charming place to stay and unwind.
