Expert Tailor & Alterations

I don't feel at all like the other reviewers on YP. I'm not saying they are wrong, but I have never had that experience at Expert Tailor. The employees are very friendly, but they speak broken English. Other than that, I have found no problems with them. They have excellent work and prices are based on work time.

I would never recommend using this company! I dropped my wedding dress off in August and just got it today 10/08, only after many calls asking when, when, when?? My wedding is on 10/10 and thanks to Expert Tailor I am laying in bed stressed about my dress and my wedding is day after tomorrow! So let's look past the fact that I'm pretty sure my dress was stored laying across her couch. My real issue came when time was running short and still no dress. I called several times and always the same thing... "Not today" call tomorrow or some excuse as to why she could not have my dress ready! Finally, 10/8 rolls around and I call frustrated as ####, and she finally says

that I can come and get my dress, I was like okay great!! I drive up and she is eager to just hand me my dress so I can go, but I insisted that come in and try it on again, and luckily for me I did!!! All the time they had my dress, they didn't think it would be of any real importance TO HEM IT!!!! That was it, by this time I'm freaking out!! Ended up taking it elsewhere, with 1 day till the wedding! Hope it all turns out okay :/ So my advice to any bride... DEF DON'T TAKE YOUR DRESS TO THIS PLACE! :(

I have went here multiple times, and the last few times have really disappointed me. I have brought simple things to be fixed... She tells me one week. Ok, so I come back in a week, and it's not ready. She tells me come back tomorrow, and I call then and she tells me to come later that day. I came and she had not EVEN started it!!! I took it and brought it somewhere else, and they had it fixed the next day!! The time before this, she did the same exact thing...she will never have it ready. It will be sitting there for months. Ridiculous! I do not recommend.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! We asked them to fix a hole in a pair of dress blue pants that my husband needed for a police officer funeral this week. They said they could fix the hole quickly. They did not call when we were told to let us know the pants were ready and would not answer the phone when I called so I went to the business to claim the pants. They had forgotten about the order, so they took my name, my husband’s name and both of our phone numbers. The owner said she needed to run an errand whole the pants were being mended and would call for me to pick them up in about an hour. I never received a call and tried called her 3 separate times to no answer. The next morning (day of the funeral) my husband called the business to see when he could pick up the pants. The owner said they were ready, but they couldn't be picked up until 9:30 when they opened. He told them he would be there then to pick them up. At 9:30, the doors were still locked and the tailor would not answer the phone. After 30 minutes of calling and knocking on the door, my husband being a police officer went around back to see if there was another door. To his dismay, the owner had snuck out the back of the building and left the establishment knowing that he was standing at the door waiting on her. She will still not return our calls and still has my husband’s dress blues.
