Really terrible service and rude owner. I got a gel manicure and 3 days later, 4 of my nails had chipped. I've had gel manicures done at other places that have lasted at least 2 weeks with minimal chipping! When I went in to ask to have the nails fixed, he was really rude and did not care at all. I just ended up having the gel soaked off because I didn't have time to keep going back and I will never go back to this salon.

Today was my second time coming this salon, the last time I went in May 2013 and I thought the service was wonderful and friendly; I got a mani/pedi and paid with a credit card. Today I went in and a very nice male technician took off my polish and filed my nails. He then switched off with another male technician, which I did not have any issue with. I went to pay before we got started and handed him my card to which he stated there was a $20 credit card fee. I explained to him that I was unaware of the policy and that I only had $3 on me; I requested that they make this exception this one time. He said, "No, go to the ATM next door". I explained to him that I did not want to spend a $3 ATM fee because he would not accept my credit card. The mani was $9 and I tip $4 so it would have been a $13 credit card charge. According to federal consumer business laws, businesses may only go up to a $10 credit card limit; my charge would have surpassed this. I told him that I would have to decline services and I offered him the $3 I had on me for what was done thus far. He began to argue with me so I left, he followed me to my car yelling; he called me names such as "crazy", took a picture of my license plate, and demanded that I pay $9. I once again offered him the $3 and explained I did not follow through with services and that he was the one denying my method of payment. He continued to harass me so I drove away very shaken up and upset. When I got home I called the salon and requested to speak with the owner/manager on duty. I was told, "I am busy, what do you want" by whoever answered the phone. I stated that I just left there and I was very upset and that I would like to speak with someone regarding a complaint. I was then hung up on. This is my first time ever writing a poor review. I even filed a complaint with the BBB. I have never been spoken to or treated that way ever. Plus they were in the wrong not accepting my $13 credit card charge and demanding a $20 credit card minimum violating federal consumer business law. I am disgusted.

The first thing I would tell ANYONE is that if you're going to publicly write a review of ANY kind- you might want to consult SPELL CHECK. Secondly, I have been a customer since before the owner's daughter was born and I don't know who the hell MIKE is but the owners are Lee and Lina. Whoever this jack off with an ax to grind is should get their facts straight if they expect to be taken seriously. This is such a blatantly obvious attempt to hurt the business of 2 extremely hard working people and anyone who even slightly believes the review posted on 5/5/13 is a douche bag too! The bottom line is this: if you want your nails to be done sub-par: go somewhere else. If you want your nails to be done to PERFECTION: go to Sweet Dreams. Hands down- the BEST nail TECHNICIANS around!

I've been going to this nail salon for quite some time even traveled 30 min bc I moved. Recently had a pedicure and as fill in. I'm not one to complain I have to wait forever to be seen it that they get up and leave while working on your nails. Last time I was there Mike (owner) got nasty with me bc I was trying on different polishes and he had to remove it and I just took off my polish on my toes to find FUNGUS!!!!! Never in my life ever have I had fungus... So it's apparent they are not santitizing properly and are using files and buffers on people with fungus and then on people without so this bacteria transfers just wonderful. Well ill enjoy calling the board of health on this so called "great" nail salon. Just bc there good at designs and shaping nails doesn't mean there clean!

We do not reuse the same product after use we put it in the bottle it is the safest and proper way to dispose. It can be very hazardous if you dump it on the street, even dumping in the sink is hazardous . There is no other way of disposing it. do you think this is safe in anyway if we dumped it on the street? we would of appreciated it if you confronted us about your concern. Thank you for your concern.

This is the best place ever clean , freindly . Lena is the best she can do design you want to your nails.

Sweet dream nails is the best place on this island I know people that come from queens CLEAN very nice and they do basically anything and everything Leena the owner is talented she can do anything

Besides the fact that the owners children are always running around my reason for not going there anymore is that they reuse the nail polish remover. I saw it with my own eyes. After I soaked to remove my polish she poured it back in the large bottle. Disgusting. Make you wonder how well they clean their nail products.
