Our company had a closing with Britt Brown on Friday June 1, 2018. The sale of our property was a CFD sale and there is an escrow agent who is to receive payments on our behalf and forward them to our company. Britt Brown’s office is in charge of forwarding the proper paperwork to the escrow agent so that we can receive our payments. As of today, July 16, 2018, Britt Brown’s office has yet to send any paperwork to the escrow agent regarding this transaction. Britt Brown’s office has been contacted on numerous occasions by us and the escrow agent. Our questions and calls have been either ignored or answered with “we just have not had time to get to that yet”. We were supposed to receive our first CFD payment on June 1st and out second payment on July 1st. Until Britt Brown’s office sends the proper paperwork to the escrow agent, however, we will not be receiving any payments. I would think twice before hiring this firm to complete a real estate transaction on your behalf.
