Look to the south and you will enter Ponce Inlet. Here we have the Lighthouse, Marine Center, animal sanctuary, as well as the nature preserve, anything a nature lover could wish for.The beach is located right acroos the street. Turtle nesting is in March! The motel has rooms with or without kitchens as well as suites, pool, cable and internet. Now has new owners and managers and it is getting BETTER! Have stayed here a few years in a row, it is a nice little place accross from the beach and close to everything! It needs a little TLC, but I think the new manager will get things done! can't wait to come back next year!!
I was visiting daytona beach for 4th of July weekend. My rental car was broken into. When I returned to my the motel, I realized that all my credit cards were stolen too. But I had only paid for one night. I called every hotel in the area. Nobody would take cash. Luckily someone at the front desk called famous shores. They took a cash deposit. To make things even better the room was cleaner , nicer, and less then half the price. Beach Veiw, and a better location. A special thank you to Rosa the manager;)
