Montgomery County Educational Service Center, located in Dayton, Ohio, provides its citizens with cultural and recreational opportunities along with academic education. It comprises more than five local districts and has an enrollment of more than 3,500 students. The school district offers special education programs for the surrounding public school systems. The programs are designed to meet the unique needs of the students enrolled in various schools. It offers a variety of programs for a wide range of special needs that include students with emotional disturbance, multiple disorders and also for preschool children with hearing impairments who have the potential to understand sound and communicate verbally. The school district bears the cost of the program for students who are placed under these programs. In addition, Montgomery County Educational Service Center provides transportation services for the district students through its transportation department.
