It operates an early childhood division that offers traditional programs for pre-school aged children. The school also has lower and middle school divisions. This is our second year at DDS and we couldn't be happier in joining the DDS family. Our boys came in for their 11th and 6th grade years. The professionalism and approachability of the faculty and staff are what make this community unique. There's a perfect balance of discipline and freedom which allows my boys "breathing room" in the classroom. As one school leader once said, "these kids are pushed, but not stressed out." A great perspective.
Our daughter has been attending Davidson Day School since she was in PK. Now she is a Freshman in HS. I think that speaks volumes of how much we love this school. It is academically challenging and engaging, and if your child loves sports, theater, arts or academics, look no further. This is a very well rounded school that offers everything you could imagine!
My child has been at Davidson Day for 3 years. She loves it and is thriving academically and emotionally. The teachers and classes are strong and keep her engaged but there are so many opportunities beyond the class room. She has dabbled in sports but loves the theatre productions and the summer archeological trips. As parents we can't ask for a more well rounded place for our child.
This is my 4th year at Davidson Day, I am currently in 7th grade and I have enjoyed it so much. I am in the upper math class and that is just one of the opportunities at D DAY
Love my dday family!! :) have been here since 8th grade & am currently a senior... Will definitely miss this place when I go to college!
