Leonard's Transmission Works

Leonard's Transmission surprised me. It's been around for decades and the guys who run it now are the old AAMCO guys with over 25 years each in the business. I didn't even know about these guys until just 10 days ago.

My transmission wouldn't shift into any gear above 2nd, so I had gotten a quote from a Moline transmission shop that has a real good reputation, but my co-worker told me that he was overcharged there 2 different times, so I called around and Leonard's quoted me $900 less for the exact same repair work done in 2 days instead of 3-4 days.

Clayton did a total rebuild with the master rebuild kit including the "sun gear shell", inspected my transfer case, and replaced 3 leaky trans cooling lines in less than 2 days.

My transmission now shifts perfectly and I am highly recommending that everyone that needs any transmission work get a quote here before they commit to more money elsewhere.
