Sugar Creek Glen Campground

I have been camping at Sugarcreek Glen for 37 years , and I have seen the good times and the bad times. Well the bad times are over. The new owners have brought new life to the campground. They have started a massive cleanup and upgrade of the whole campground. They are bringing back the family atmosphere and making Sugarcreek as enjoyable as it is beautiful. If you have stayed here in the past couple years and had problems with the owners or the state of the campground I implore you to give another try. You will see and feel the efforts the new owners have put out and you won’t be disappointed.

We just became seasonal renters here and let me tell you- it's a true find! We are a younger family(early 30's) with 3 boys....this serene, majestic creekside campsite is just wonderful! The brand new owners for 2013 season are simply down to earth and welcoming people. They want a family friendly, no nonsense atmosphere for families young and old to enjoy. They couldn't be more helpful- and nicest part was they are constantly cleaning the bathrooms, picking up the grounds and walking around to make sure everyone is enjoying as well as behaving themselves. Very reassuring to know that this couple puts so much TLC into their new venture of owning a large campground. The creeks and waterfalls are just fantastic. the park is adorable for little ones- with a pirate ship to get lost in play on! There are trails galore, everyone we encountered was friendly to us and our boys. Other parents even looked out for our older 2 inquisitive boys. I think we couldn't have found and chosen a better place to make memories for years to come! We can't wait to relax and explore for the rest of this season! You must forget the old reviews prior to 2013....the old owners are long gone & the new ones actually care...and it shows :)

Amazing Place! Fun for anyone who loves the outdoors!

This is an excellent campsite. It has everything from hiking, biking, fishing, activities. My husband, dog and myself had a great time there a couple of years ago and I plan to go back soon. The staff members were very friendly and helpful.
