I would not recommend this jail. But then who would recommend a jail? Nobody wants to go to jail. My husband's in this particular jail. He was hurt and they never even got him any ice or bandaids. Now that's totally uncalled for. And when he needs medical help from someone, they tell him to get it himself. Now how is he going to get medical help when he doesn't even have any rights in a jail? Seems like the nurse that's in every jail will help him to do something about it. But no, when we ask the nurse to help out our family members, the nurse gets very angry and then punishes the inmates by putting them in the hole when all they wanted was some help. When they just wanted some Tylenol or Aspirins or something. And that right there is NOT the American way. The inmates are American citizens also. They have rights, but the jailers consider them to not have any rights especially when it comes to them getting sick. They feed them about as much as they would a little boy about the age of 9. And that's uncalled for. The inmates barely get fed. And that's one of the main reasons that they get sick. Then the inmates are allowed to smoke. But when the visitors come in, the visitors aren't allowed to smoke. Now can you tell me why? But what really turns me off--and not just me, others, too--is that they won't get the inmates MEDICAL HELP.
