Sun Rental Center

I rented a wood chipper. Sun rentals was the most expensive in town but said they would price match. When I returned the machine and had the competitors price in writing the manager said "he just has lots of money and wants to put us out of business so there's no way I'll match his price". The least honest manager of a rental yard in the Coeur d'Alene area. Go anywhere else.

If I could rate their service a zero, I would. I called about renting a ditch witch and had to call several times because their phone line kept cutting me off. At the time I was trying to reserve this machine, the computer system was down and so "Jim" said that he had written my name down. I also asked about their hours so I knew when I could have it returned. I was told they would be open Sunday. So I asked to pick it up on Saturday and return it on Sunday (24 hr rental). When I called Saturday to verify the rental for my brother-in-law to pick up, I was told that they would be closed on Sunday and it would cost me "a lot" to keep it until Tuesday (after Labor Day). I tried to explain that Jim told me that they were open on Sunday to return it. Then they got very short with me. My brother-in-law went the 40 minute drive to pick it up with the understanding that we would have it back by 5 that night. When arriving at the business to pick it up, the "guy" behind the counter was rude and decided not to rent it to us because "we got off on the wrong foot." Very poor customer service!!! A guarantee that Sun Rental we NEVER have my business again. Thank you A to Z Rental for great customer service.

I had terrible service. they were constantly trying to bully my into returning my rental machine in early and finally the second day of rental just because they decided to close early they showed up at my residence and took the machine before even allowing me to reach my rental term. also the machine was in poor shape with indicators on all the time and squeaked like it had not been maintained. they also refused to comp me for my lost time.
