Mia received her B.S. in Psychology from Xavier University of Louisiana and a Masters of Social Work at the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Mia became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2009 after completing two years of direct clinical therapy hours. This involved working with individuals, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings including group homes, schools, private and community based programs, as well as, inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities. Mia specializes in counseling adolescents and their parents as well as women presenting with a variety of issues.
