After getting a repair estimate from one vendor that said I needed an entire new cooling system, I decided to get a 2nd opinion. A friend of mine had used Advanced and was happy with them, so I tried them.



That call saved me $6100 (minimum -- could have been more like $12,400). After giving me a better bid over the phone, for a better replacement unit, they came out, looked at my existing unit, and told me that I didn't need a new unit at all. Instead, I had 1 faulty part. That's it. $600 later, my house was cooling again, and Advanced was on their way.



They could have EASILY told me that I needed a new unit, and I would have believed them and paid for it. They also told me that their bid was for an entire new unit, while the competitor's bid was for only parts of an eniter new unit, and they could do the EXACT same work for just about half.



I'm never going to use anyone else for my HVAC maintenance & repair. Honesty goes a long way, in my book.
