Progressive Insurance had my car towed here following an accident in which my vehicle was totalled. I had some personal belongings in the car when it was towed away because I couldn't bring everything with me in the tow truck, so I had to arrange to stop by and retrieve the items.



It took two phone calls to get someone to answer the phone. When I arrived, I went inside and followed the roped off line as indicated, then came to the front counter. I stood for several minutes. Three women were at the front counter. None of them acknowledged me. (They weren't on the phone or helping another customer--I was the only person there.) Finally, after a few minutes of being ignored, one of the women said they would be with me shortly.



The woman who did assist me was neither friendly nor pleasant. She wrote down my information on a post-it note and directed me to stand outside in the back and wait. After several minutes, an off-duty sheriff arrived. He was similarly unpleasant. I was driven out to my vehicle. My belongings had been moved around and damaged, and a few small items were stolen.



I am deeply disappointed in Progressive Insurance for choosing to do business with a company that clearly places no value on customer service. Every step of my experience with this place was negative. I would give no stars if it were an option.
