Lifetime Dental

I was there on Thursday for my first dentist visit in over 12 years (oops). My last dentist appointment somewhere else was so bad that I really feared going back to the dentist. I was ready to have 10 root canals or maybe gum disease...who knows.....
BUT, I have to say that every person I was in contact with at this office was excellent at customer service. This is VERY rare in Houston. I was so pleased with the first phone call to make the appointment, the front office lady that did my chart, my hygienist Liz, she was awesome!, my dentist Dr. D was the BEST!!!!!! And I'm not just saying that because after 12 years of not seeing a dentist, I only had 1 little, teeny, tiny cavity :)
The dentist's assistant and the girl who charged me....EVERYONE was fantastic!!!! Please keep up the great work! IT is very much appreciated and noticed!!!

I was referred to Dr. D by my father. Having had horrible experience at the old dental office I went to, I had waited over ten years to see a dentist. I went to her expecting that I would need to have all my teeth removed and possibly dentures.
Dr D was very sweet and explained to me that removing my teeth would be a horrible mistake. She did have to extract 3, but was able to replace them with a bridge that is glued in and does not need to be removed!
Im so happy I went to her and would highly recommend her. The only negative I have to say in this review is that it took me about 2 weeks to be able to get in with her.

I recently found myself in THE MOST excruciating pain. Fri - Mon. I was finally able to call a dentist. I went online and found Dr. Daftarian. I read her background and decided she was the doctor for me. I called, praying to get in. one of the staff answered and had me in the next morning. From there is was only more and more terrific. The beautiful inviting and comfortable waiting room was great, it was cold outside and they had the fireplace on. They offered us hot tea while we waited. Dr. D came in and I realized that all my fear and complete anxiety was starting to let go of me as she did the exam. You could not ask for better chair side manner. I have to have some extreme work done, in my opinion, and I may be nervous, but I am no longer terrified. That very thing that kept me from going to the dentist in the first place. I have had some pretty bad experiences. I found MY dentist at last.

Dr. D and her staff are exceptional!! I went in with nothing but problems & walked away from her office feeling like a new man with beautiful dentistry. They are a great group! All of the staff is friendly, supportive, professional & thorough! Wanda, the financial lady, is wonderful and continues to make my treatment possible!! This group exceeded all of my expectations and they have a customer for life!

Dr D was the second dentist we went to see in the area after a bad experience with another nearby dentist (you can find my review of them, too). THIS OFFICE AND DOCTOR ARE AMAZING! Great customer service, great bedside manner (of the dentist), great office vibe. Dr D is very conservative with dental work, and will only drill when she believes absolutely necessary. Not pushy at all with dental work, and very knowledgeable. I had questions about my TMJ, and she gave a great (verbal) outline of what she thought should happen for treatment.

I have been taking my children here for the last 18 months. Most of the appts are routine six month check ups, cleaning, and xrays. My son did have a cavity filled (he is 7) and they did a great job. I think I was more nervous than my son. The Dr was gentle yet firm and helped my son relax and focus during the procedure.

Me and My family have visited this office for years and have always had a good experience. Dr. D was wonderful. The new doctor Dr. Gilum is also very nice and thorough. The staff is great. Tameka is our favorite.

Visited this office for the first time last week. Waiting time was about 25 min to get seen, but considering most of that was paperwork, it was not too bad. The doctor was very thorough and gentle. Will go back.

I would highly recommend this office. They are great with kids and really makes you feel like family. The Dr is extremely sweet and takes her time to make you feel comfortable. The staff is also GREAT.

AWESOME OFFICE!

Ive been with Dr. D since I was 15, and am almost 22 now. She is absolutely the best there is. Always caring and thorough. She taught me the importance of keeping my teeth healthy and most importantly how to prevent cavities and gum disease.

They are very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I took off work for an appointment on a Friday. I showed for my scheduled appointment time to be told that I would have to rescheduled. They claimed to have called to see if I could take an earlier appointment but could not reach me. Needless to say I wasn't seen and the appointment was in moved to another day. Simply because the doctor on rotation had plans for the weekend. Disgusted!

A great office. You can't tell from the outside how nice and cozy it is on the inside of the office. My sister recommended this place to me and I am very happy. I bleached my teeth and get compliments almost every day. Was very happy.

Ive seen Dr D for years here. My son and daughter absolutely love her. We went for our check up this past friday and the new associate doctor there saw them. They were very happy with her. I have nothing but good to say about this office.

Dr. D is so good. I hate going to the dentist no matter what, but she makes it so much easier. I had a crown recently done, and the only thing I felt was the injection, and that was just a little bit. Will not see anyone else.

5 months ago i was dying of severe tootache. I visited a denist who recommended two of my teeth be root canaled and crowned. I went to Dr. D for second opinion and so glad that I did because she told me it was just due to a sinus infection that I was having. I saw my doctor and antibiotics took care of it.

she could have just taken my money and root canaled my teeth like the other dentist wanted to do. But she took the time and correctly helped me. Ive sent my sisters to her and they love her as well. Nothing but positive experience.

Ive been going to Lifetime for the past 2 years. Ive had regular exams and check ups for the most part. I've had couple of fillings done last year that have been great. Dr D has always gentle and kind. I dont like seeing anyone other than her. I would give the office 5 stars other than it took me 3 weeks wait time to be able to see her. But was seen by her today and as usual had a great check up and cleaning. Will continue to go back....

This dental office was great when we first started receiving services there, but now is it absolutely TERRIBLE. First and foremost Dr. D is only there once or twice a month or so we were told. You will get services from what seems as a rotation of doctors some of whom are incompetent to say the least. The office manager/director is very rude and unprofessional. My son had sealants put on and within 2-3 days they were falling off. On one visit my wife and I waited over a hour before we left without a cleaning. The last straw came when they charged my dental insurance for cleaning services I did not receive. Now my dental insurance will not pay for a cleaning this cycle until that is cleared with Lifetime. Of course, Lifetime Dental is dragging its feet to get this cleared since they have already been paid for services they did not render.
