Lighthouse Cove RV Park

it's been a few years but the last time we went it was a blast

We have stayed at Shoreline for a week to a month over the last 4 years. If you like to fish, the west Jetty on the ocean side is good for bottom fish. Nice Ling Cod are caught the entire length of the jetty. No boat is needed and there are plenty of nice spot on the rocks. Mussels are every where but you need to check when they are OK to eat. Clams are available, especially long necks right out in front to the campground. There is a fishing dock nearby, the city boat dock and other areas close by for dungeness and red rock crabs. There is a Walmart, Safeway, drugstores, and resturants nearby. Also private clubs, like, VFW and Eagles or Elks. The prices for groceries are competitive.



The campground is open with many pull thru sites with full hookups and now have WiFi. They have dirt roads and large grassy sites with a built up levey between the beach and campground to protect them in the winter. The grounds need to be mowed better but with the City taking over we expect to see more improvement. They also have nice tent sites with some shade. There is no clubhouse and the bathrooms are about average and old. They were clean and stocked whenever we visited.



This a the only RV campground on the waterfront in Crescent City that we know, and the people are always friendly and helpful.
