Internal Medicine
• Dr. Katie has been known for managing complex internal medicine cases, performs both routine and emergency surgeries, holds on tight to her ultrasound machine, and truly loves her clients and their fur-babies.

Ultrasound
While x-rays provide us with good images of bone, an ultrasound is the best way to identify problems with internal organs and soft tissue. Providing this service in-house enables us to get you immediate results and provide fast and appropriate treatment.
Radiology
Maher Animal Hospital utilizes modern radiographic equipment and automatic processing that allows us to take high-quality x-rays of your pet. Radiographs are essential for diagnosing certain medical and surgical problems, and are performed routinely, with pets either awake or sedated.

Dermatology
Veterinary dermatology includes diseases that affect the animal's skin, hair coat, nails and ears. Hair loss and constant scratching often indicate allergies. Our veterinarians have a thorough protocol to determine what is causing these allergies, including flea allergy, food allergy or atopical dermatitis. We carry a wide variety of topical medications, oral antibiotics and antifungals as well as flea preventatives. We have the capabilities to diagnose and treat parasitic skin diseases (scabies, demodectic mange), genetic disorders, autoimmune disorders, alopecia (hair loss) and skin cancers.
