Riva Aesthetic Dermatology

I was beyond impressed with my first contact with Lindsay Jayson. She was so helpful and kind and especially with her knowledge of skin care. She warmly greeted myself and my 3 children and was quick to diagnose and treat my sons skin problem. She made me and my son feel comfortable throughout the appointment even though he had to have places removed. She was patient and talked to my son about exactly what needed to be done and gave him choices. All of our follow up visits have been just as great and she is so caring for my son-every mothers dream. I would HIGHLY recommend Lindsay Jayson!!!!!

I will keep my review very short and simple as the owner tries to repeatedly delete my review since I was not the patient there. I am leaving this review because my mother was the patient at Riva and I spoke with them numerous times on the phone to hear them clarify the results of what she had done. This review is based on what transpired during the phone calls I had from Riva Dermatology. In my opinion, I would not recommend anyone go to this business. Lindsay Jayson was her dermatologist and she did not properly diagnose my mother’s condition. The diagnosis she gave my mother was not at all the case when I followed up with an actual doctor. In short, if you’re looking to have dermatology work done, take my word for it and avoid this place as they couldn’t tell her the correct results of her procedure.

I had been to 3 dermatologists in 6 years to treat Psoriasis and had countless ointments and ultraviolet light treatments with no results. I was miserable with over 80% coverage. I could not wear shorts in summer and had to wear long sleeve shirts and a ball cap all year round. I live in Concord, but I heard good things about Dr. Shafron and decided to drive to Corneilus. He was the first Dr. to look at all of my medical history and treatments before making his diagnosis, so when he said, "I can get your skin clear", I believed him. I saw changes immediately! After 3 months I was wearing short sleeve shirts and no ball cap. I can't wait to wear shorts in the summer again, I am 100% clear. I have my skin back. Anyone with psoriasis knows what I am talking about. Dr. Shafron and his staff are very professional and truly know what they are doing!

I was new to the area and was looking into getting Botox for the first time to see if it would help my headaches because I heard from some friends it has for them. So I looked up offices and came across this one and figured I would give it a shot. I am defiantly coming back. Dr. Shafran was so wonderful and is one of the best doctors I've ever met. And the staff was so sweet as well. After getting Botox I have not been getting my usual headaches so often like I use to. I defiantly see a change. I 100% recommend this office.

My husband and I have been going to the University location for many years. When I learned that Dr Shafran and Aesthetician Mari Klos would be opening a new location in Cornelius I had no question that I would make the drive to see them. Their new facility is beautiful, and the staff is very nice and professional. I highly recommend Dr Shafran and Mari if you want somene who is professional, honest and knowledgeable.

So glad that Dr Kerry Shafran is now in Cornelius! I have been driving 45 min, passing many other practices, for 8 years because he is such a good dermatologist. The new practice is beautiful, and the staff is very helpful and courteous. If you are in need of a highly skilled dermatologist that you can trust completely, look no farther.
