June's Alterations

I dropped off 2 dresses, including an Easter dress, and 3 pairs of jeans to be hemmed for my daughter last week.

When I dropped them off, the woman taking my clothes asked me if the dresses were expensive.

I came back to pick up this morning - the clothes could not be found. I got a call from a younger woman today telling me that in spite of having my claim ticket, that their story is that I "came back" and picked them up because I was hesitant of the price of the alterations. I was never quoted a price, nor did I return to pick them up.

I now think the person who asked about the price of my items must have stolen them. I have provided receipts and requested a reimbursement for the items they lost/misplaced/stole. However, I was accused of trying to run a scam on THEM - saying that people like me do things like this often.

Do not use this establishment - and don't take any clothes for young girls that you care anything about - they may vanish.
