        I have never liked McDermott Funeral Home.

        I had to go to that place for my father’s funeral in 1997; Most recently (6 weeks or so ago) it was my mother's funeral.



        The obituary notice in the PG after my mother’s passing identified me by a first name which I do not prefer. I sent an email to McDermott requesting a correction. No acknowledgement nor any action when I mentioned it at the Kennedy location.



        I returned a few weeks later to help my sister put my mother’s affairs into order. My sister asked me to pick up my mother’s death certificates.



        I am asked by this woman as to who I have been working with? Huhh??? Not working with anyone. Just there to pick up some death certificates. I question the non-responses to earlier e-mail messages.



        Then she wants to copy my driver' license before releasing the certificates. She does note that the driver’s license name is my non-preferred name and I tell her the name on that license with me and PA---and not McDermott.
