Monkeyz Kloset

I went to this place to shop for my son and was grossed out and concerned for the safety of other children if parents were to buy items here. A bassinet that I had seen was stained grungy and just trashed. The woman working was trying to sell an illegal drop down crib to a woman cash even after being told it was illegal she didn't care. My MIL picked up a dress and was going to purchase until we realized it had goodwill store tag still attached. Baby bathers part broken off and missing. Selling items that are opened and unhygienic and should not be. Another woman consigner was yelling and upset about not being paid yet. Even though items had been sold for a while. It's sad since I was hoping this would be a great place before arriving. I will never recommend or go there again. Goodwill is a better place to shop than there and as it turns out they sell goodwill stuff there just double the price.

I have been to many other consignment stores since my experience with Monkeyz Kloset. Why Monkeyz Kloset is still in business is beyond my comprehension. They are rude, never available, and very limited in assortment. Other the the convenience of the location there is no reason to even stop in. I found many other shops that are happy to take in my childrens sightly used things. People shop around, check out the yellow pages online under Childrens consigment you while find many places that are pleasant to deal with and are happy for your business. Monkeyz Kloset make you feel like they are doing you the biggest favor. The person that you must see has VERY limited hours and you MUST have an appointment. VERY APPOINTED, because I prefer to give my business local shops.

That lady was crazy. Monkeyz kloset is a greattt store. theres nothing dirty about it. they have awesome baby stuff and i have referred this store to alot of friends and family!

I just went by today to see this store. Someone told me to check it out since I love to shop consignment, and they are fairly new. I was not impressed with the place, though the girl working there was quite nice, the store itself was dirty, and some items were strangly placed (hard to find).



Lots of things looked as though they were there for months and are not on sale (that's part of why I like consignment shopping), so I don't understand how long it takes before they are marked down, but many things from October were still at full price.



I also noticed she had some new items in the store, but none of it made much sense to me and there no prices on anything, which frustrated me.



I doubt I will be going back anytime soon, but I do hope for the sake of others, it gets better.
